Crystal in general is a bit of a commitment for mains. Since it costs crystal shards to make the armour / weapon if you need to sell you will lose out on that creation cost. It can add up to quite a few mil. This goes quite literally 20x for corrupting the bowfa.

I bring Crystal armour to CoX mostly because at Shamans/Mystics/Baby Mutta the T-Bow isn't that good, for other raids like ToB (elite ranged void) and ToA (Karils/God D'Hide) you aren't using the Bowfa so the crystal armour is basically the same as Karils/God D'hide.Elite void is 12,5% damage and 10% accuracy and no ranged bonus. Bowfa for sure. I recently sold my bowfa for a tbow rebuild, but honestly: Bowfa has more uses overall than Tbow and can make you money back at so many places. Crystal armour is very squishy, which I hated. Armadyl armour is a noob trap. For a very expensive price, its ranged bonuses are miniscule compared to what ranged weapons can provide.
