Before going to the range I took the mag apart and checked the spring and did a little sanding inside the mag on the polymer side, on the sharp edges of the follower and the top edges of the the mag. Nothing drastic with the mag, but just a little touch up. The Glock plastic sights don't bother me though I did replace them with night sights for under $70. I'm a fan of Johnny Glock's modified smooth face OEM shoe for $22. With the Glock you get two 10 rd mags.
