A lot of personal quests become pretty hard to complete if you aren't the type of person that can be persuasive enough to convince your friends to go back and do boring things like repeat scenarios, or things that are pretty sub-optimal during a scenario run. The quest is not about collecting resources, but cards. Cards are indeed collected whether a scenario is won or lost, but resources are not collected during a failed scenario. Is this confusing? Yes.
