Then, maybe 2 years ago or less, I saw the 18-year old sherry-finished KS, now at 46% and at $50 (or $55, can’t recall). Still have that bottle, very pleasant for the money, even if not spectacular.

Full disclosure, this 40% Speyside single malt no longer exists, replaced in 2017 with the 46% alcohol version. I keep one glass decanter filled with that at all times. Not a fan of the 23 dollar one. Too fruity for my taste.
