There’s a lot of synergy between the self-mill and recursion mechanics, plus a lot of support from and for your artifacts. The Dr. Who precons are pretty strong out of the box and fun to play. A lot of reasonable value reprints in them as well. Not the 50 dollar per card kind but 2-5 dollars. So playable yet not bonkers staples. LotR Precons are an excellent product. I have to give props to the Wizards team for these precons.
