Newrez is a decent place to be if you're starting out in the mortgage industry. They will train you from the ground up, pay for your licenses, and provide inbound/outbound leads. However, the company as a whole seems to be too focused on growing and buying out other companies/servicing rights rather than addressing the myriad of existing issues.Newrez acquired my loan from Loancare in Sept 2023. My last payment to Loancare for Oct 2023 was in process, Newrez received that payment and credited the payment. In January I got notice that my credit score was degraded from 825 to 815 and is now 808 because both Loancare and Newrez were reporting my mortgage balance.Shellpoint & NewRez are both impossible to work with. They lose paperwork and then blame the client even when the client has proof of submission.
