Used the 7000 JD planter I just bought for the first time planting corn. I went by the book in setting the driver and driven sprockets attempting to put out 26000 plant population, ending up with around 35000. Plate size recommended by seed company was used. Any suggestions on things that might be worn I can check before soybean planting. Maybe slightly less, like 149,500, the closest in the chart, or use 15 driver and 13 driven to get 151,000. That was a corn chart I posted the link to, so for the 60 slot Kinze disk it gets multiplied by 5.
