Hydroid definitely needs a rework and I think this is a good idea in the right direction. I rarely saw people play him when his loot bonus still stacked and haven't seen anyone willingly play him since they removed it in public matches/groups. Yep, the pirate is in terrible shape. Hydroid has a nice, broad niche as a tanky armor stripper now. His 1 no longer interferes with your gameplay, his 2 is basically Rolling Guard without a mod slot, his 3 is a nice damage buff that makes all enemy armor a non-issue and adds player armor at a good rate, and his 4 no longer makes enemies impossible to shoot.
